100 Things // Research // Postcards

As i was looking at information more than statistics, i wanted to focus in and find some more suitable info-graphic research that would relate to what i was doing.

I liek the idea of the textured background and using only two or three colours, keeping it really simple and easy to understand, but still interesting and visually appealing.

Working with the blue and red colour scheme again. Works really well together and is something i want to try and include in my work.

100 Things // Font Research // Native

I have been looking at various different typefaces as inspiration for the typeface i will be creating myself. I have an idea of a style i will be going for and these are some influences around this...

More Zines/Posters

i am really liking the red and blue combination that is seen in many contemporary pieces of artwork, especially zines. i think the colours compliment each other beautifully and that is another reason i have chose to use them in my pieces...

Here are some more products  i have come across on the internet and saved as research...

100 Things // Zine Research

~ C A T A L O G U E ~

former students of leeds college of art, Catalogue are two really sound guys who do a lot of zine work ad the style i am looking at for this project. They are leeds based and often pop into the studio so this is a good way to talk to professionals in the business.

Here is some of their zine work which i love. I  think it is simple, innovative and thats what makes them sell. They have travelled to various countries with these zines  and they have been successful wherever they have been.
