Research - Aeroplane Safety Instructions

After some initial brainstorming, we decided to create a information diagram on 'How to Flag a Taxi.' Taking inspiration from Aeroplane Safety instructions, we want to crated an information flyer which will grab the viewers attention and also have a comedy element to the subject, making it a lighthearted and much easier for a student to engage with.

I like the look of the retro/vintage style advertising on this one. The colours work really well, a muted pastel sort of style making the ad look really vintage. I also like the layout of the design, with the guy at the bottom layered over the diagrams in the boxes. The font also works really well, adding a contemporary look on a vintage idea. This is the best style of this advert i have come across so far.

I like the simpleness of this next design. The illustrations work really well for the purpose they are serving. Another good idea would be to keep the diagrams we create really simple as this is an effective way to achieve peoples attentions, get the message across and engage with the viewer. Works really well as an important thing such as a safety instruction.

the last one is again a different take on a serious safety instruction, showing the impact of an actual crash.   A nice idea but i don't like the layout and colours used in this one as much as the other two.
